Classes were Classes.
During 1/2 hour break I spoke with Gaby from the office so that she can help me get a good deal to go to the Galapagos Islands. I'm pretty excited
Grammar and literature were both good. We learned about how adjectives can change meaning whether they are behind or ahead of a noun. I knew a lot of them, but I hadn't realized I used all of that on a regular basis without really thinking about it.
For lunch, Julius, Vincent, Brian, Yonseili and I went to Che7 for lunch. We got there at like 1:10ish and got our food at like 1:40ish. Let me tell you one thing about customer service here... it doesn't exist. If you want a simple acknowledgement from the employees, the waiters/waitresses, ANY ONE in the business, you're pretty much asking for too much. I can probably count the times it has happened because they have been too few. I had a chicken sandwich and fries. To drink I had tomate de arbol.
Then we played soccer! We signed up for the same students vs. professors, but it turned out to be mostly students, - game. It was fun. All day it was cloudy but by the end of the game there was thunder and then... dun dun dun... rain! We played in the rain for a while until we called it quits. I scored one goal. Again, I was on the winning team.
After that, Yonseili and I went with Vincent and Brian to the eat-chicken-with-gloves-place. We wanted them to check it out and we got chicken and fries. It was pretty funny. By the time we had gotten there, though, we were soaked, especially Vincent. He had to borrow Yonseili's sweater.
Since Julius' birthday is tomorrow, they were having a get-together for him at the residence halls. We went and a lot of people were there, including the "new kids." We all had to pitch in for the food; David from Colombia prepared the burritos and tacos. Yonseili and I shared one burrito... it kinda sucked knowing we paid $4 for that. Then... off we went... guess where... yeah, Bungalow 6. But hey, at least I got in free. And what happened there? Same-o, same-o. Womp, womp, womp. Except, new people hooked up... that was interesting. A few guys hit on me and it was a bit disturbing to have to say several times that I didn't want to dance with them. It's also annoying when guys try to do a conversation while you're just trying to dance. Dude, I just wanna dance, I don't want to be interrogated and share my life story.
As soon as Anne, from Denmark, said she was gonna bounce, Yonseili and I went with her. We were home by 1am and then finished up homework... it was sooooo sucky.
