El caracter

Common to see this.  This was in the AM
during our walk to school

Wow, our advertising professor is intense.  I'm not really sure what she does but supposedly she's taught at a lot of universities and she knows all about advertising because she's also worked in that industry.  Her name is Tatiana Vaneza Cevallos.  She's pretty cool but I also get the feeling she doesn't really listen, and mainly likes to talk. We will see.  She talked to us today about character because that is what she expects of us her students.  She talked about ethics, integrity, etc.  She also said that without (good) habits, there can't be success.  Hmmm... what new good habit do I want to have?  According to her, I don't know where she knows this from, it takes 21 days to get into the habit of something, and you gotta do it at the same time every day, don't even stop on weekends.  I will definitely have to try that... but with what?

When I left school, I asked Brian to go with me to the bookstore to buy a book for literature.  I needed to buy the following:

I couldn't find this exact book so I decided to wait for Yonseili to see if we could go to another bookstore together. Raquel told Yonseili she could meet us at 5 at the school to take us to a bookstore she goes to by the airport.  We got there a bit late so we just went to two by the school and got the book, a bit different and actually better.  So we began to read.

BUT, we didn't read right after we bought the book.  First we stopped at El Jardin to buy a few gifts, including a shirt for Julius for his upcoming birthday, and another for Brian.  They were pretty cool and of course we got one for us as well.

The rest of the evening was just homework, dinner and more homework.

Highlight of the day:  The character speech.  It was good.
Host brother's drawing.
He had to put his parents' and siblings' names on the paper.
He wrote my name on it... awww <3.
